NSF Program Director Dr. Elise Lockwood is visiting and will talk about the National Science Foundation's programs under the Division of Undergraduate Education (DUE). Come to learn more about research funding pertaining to undergraduate education and ask questions about how you can strengthen your offerings to students with DUE opportunities.
Elise Lockwood is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Oregon State University. Lockwood received her Ph.D. in Mathematics Education from Portland State University in 2011 and was a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. Lockwood's research involves undergraduate mathematics education.
DUE's programs through NSF are intended to strengthen STEM education by improving curricula, instruction, laboratories, infrastructure, assessment, diversity of students and faculty, and collaborations.
